PTV xTour Server – we disclose the secret

With the new release of PTV xTour Server several improvements were implemented that will inspire you!

Dynamic truck-trailer combinations

An important feature has been provided for trip optimisation in the new release – the ability to differentiate your fleet in tractors, trailers and the combination of both.

This Dynamic truck-trailer combination of PTV xTour Server thereby automatically optimises your entire fleet, taking into account the trailers that are available.

Hierarchical priority planning

The new hierarchical priority planning allows you to prioritise your destinations in discrete levels. The prioritisation then forms the basis for including specific consignments in the current trip optimisation.

Multi-distance matrices in one plan

Planning a van together with a truck? Previously, you were limited to a single distance matrix – either for the profile of the van or the slowlier truck.
You now have the possibility to select different distance matrices for different types of vehicles. Therefore you plan every vehicle with the correct speed profil and get more realistic planning results.
