Windows 8 article in preperation

[Edit 09.02.2012]: I just were able to see the first few lines of the upcoming article – promises to be exciting 🙂

“When Microsoft announced its latest version of Windows last September, there was some uproar among developers. Windows 8 is an answer to the rise of smartphones and tablet PCs. The new Metro UI supports small screens, multi-touch and ARM-based CPUs. But Windows 8 also raises some questions for developers, because the programming tools for Metro are not the same as those for classic windows clients …. “

My colleagues Oliver Heilig and Frank Gailfuß are working on an article that deals with the subject

“Windows 8’s new Metro UI and its impact for developers”

I look forward to your feedback when we post this article …. hopefully tomorrow 😉    ;
